Mario Cobo is a Mexican born photographer and writer, who in 2019 founded MAD APE COMPANY, a media and production company dedicated to documentary style photography and videography. An avid traveler and storyteller, he has taken on a wide range of individual projects. Self taught, Mario has spent many years practicing and sharpening his skills in many areas of photo and video, not only growing the variety and flexibility of his work, but focusing on mastering his craft and applying his talents to other areas of his artistic career. In 2024, Mario earned his degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, and minoring in Art and Film & Media Studies with concentrations in Photography, Directing, and Editing. He is currently based in Mexico City, Mexico, where he is launching his first limited edition collection of fine art prints.
